Being Good Stewards
We have been blessed beyond measure, and we now stand with an opportunity to continue to make Kingdom investments in our city.
We simply want to be good stewards with what he has blessed us with. Capstone is not OUR church but Christ’s. We are called be good stewards and servants of his bride, Capstone. Jesus tells his disciples in the gospel of Luke:
“Everyone to whom much was given, of him much will be required, and from him to whom they entrusted much, they will demand the more.” Luke 12:48b
With great blessing comes the demand for clear stewardship. Capstone believes that we are considered to be in the “much given” category. We have been given much; therefore much is expected with what we have been given. Stewardship means wisdom and sacrifice in order to invest in his Kingdom for his glory, in order to tell his Story.
We will need your commitment and sacrifice to see this vision come to life. Capstone is calling our family look at what the Lord has entrusted to you and to begin to ask about personal stewardship. How will you take what God has given you and invest it for his Glory? Will you be a good steward with what you have been blessed with in order to help Capstone be good stewards with what we have been given to us?
We want to ensure that every man, woman, and child in the 29644 has a repeated opportunity to hear, see and respond to the Gospel. We long for the welfare of our city and for revival to sweep through our city streets. We believe the FOR THE 44 Stewardship Campaign is an opportunity that has been given to us to bring the Kingdom on Earth as it is in heaven.
Join us in praying for this first phase of “For the 44” and the ability to raise $300,000 in two years to fully fund Capstone’s expansion. Ask the Lord what is he calling you invest in the 44? Begin to look at your own stewardship with what has been entrusted to you and how God might be calling you be radically generous for His Kingdom.
We look forward to hearing from you on how God is calling you invest in this vision For the 44.
